Once you reach Dehradun, head to the Assan Barrage. There isn’t much of an itinerary that you need to stick to here, except to enjoy an unparallel bird watching experience. Leave early in the morning for the Barrage from Dehradun to encounter some rare bird life as well as to avoid traffic.
