Nainital is one of the most beautiful places in Uttarakhand, India. It is famous for its Lakes and Breathtaking views. The region of Nanital is called the “Lake District of India” as there are 60 lakes in the area beside the Naini Lake.
Nainital is the perfect place for your holidays during June – July. If you want to enjoy every damn thing then you have to stay for at least 5–6 days, so plan accordingly. Also if want to enjoy snowfall it’s better to visit during December end-January.
Mall Road is the Main Street and most crowded place in Nanital which is constructed during British Colonial Rule. Locals and tourists are found to be strolling in on this road in the evenings. Mall Road consists of Hotels, Showrooms, Restaurants, Shops, and handicrafts products.

Bhim Tal – The major attraction in Bhimtal is the Bhimtal Lake, which has an island at its center.
Sattal – Sattal is one of the few unspoiled and unpolluted freshwater biomes in India. It is known sattal because it is surrounded by seven small lakes which are Garud Tal, Nal-Damyanti Tal, Purna Tal, Sita Tal, Ram Tal, Laxman Tal, Khurdariya Tal.

Gurur Tal – One of the lakes of Sat Tal. The water in the lake is clean and you can have proper visibility of fish. This is the private property of the Sat Tal Christian Ashram. This beautiful lake in the midst of the pine and oak forest. The lake-side Chapel is a wonderful place to meditate. This is a place where the Sandhya (vespers) is conducted by the Sat Tal Christian Ashram. A good lake to enjoy swimming to but it is prohibited now as each year one death is reported here.

Naukuchiatal – Naukuchiatal or ‘lake of nine corners is a small hill station. The lake is 175 feet deep and is situated at 1220 Mts above sea level. It is surrounded by hills covered in trees and shrubs. It is the deepest of all the lakes in the Nainital region.
If you are more adventurous then try out Paragliding near Bhimtal costs around Rs.1500 – 2000 for a 5–10 minutes ride.
